Local Companies Partner to Create Dream Space for Georgetown Kids
Recent funding from the Williamson County Community Block Development Grant Program has allowed the Boys & Girls Club of Georgetown (BGCG) to double their current building to keep pace with their rapidly expanding membership. Moman Architects, J.Jacobs Commercial, Boyer & Associates, FHI, Keystone Concrete, City Mechanical Plumbing, Austin Air Conditioning, Sable Electric, AYS Engineering, Caskey Drywall and several other local businesses donated a portion of their services to complete the meaningful project, which was constructed in just 100 hours from May 3 through May 7. Hundreds of talented volunteers and trade professionals worked around the clock to give the BGCG members a new inviting and colorful space in time for summer.
Kicking-off their long-awaited building expansion, the BGCG hosted a party called “The Path to Greatness” on Saturday, May 1, empowering local kids and teens through a fun and inspirational day of live music, food, and art. University of Texas football players attended in support of the club, as well as Round Rock Express’ mascot Spike and many local elected officials.
The BGCG is an affiliate of the Boys & Girls Club of Central Texas providing a variety of group recreational, educational, arts, and social programs for all youth ages 7-17. Since it’s inception in 2006, the Georgetown location has grown from 100 members to over 400 in just over four years. For more information visit www.bgctxclubs.org.
Moman Architects Diversifies Portfolio with New Dental Design Collaboration

Since their inception, Moman has completed several buildings for healthcare professionals and dentists. PDG will provide all the interior design elements for both spaces including dental programming, floor plan development, material selection and finishes. Moman will design the exterior structures and assist with the interior plans and details, coordinate engineering, generate construction drawings and obtain permitting.
