Working to Give
Focused philanthropy such as volunteering and donating professional services is a core principle of Moman Architects. As a company, we are committed to using our combined resources and expertise to assist non-profit organizations and individuals at every opportunity. We are honored to have such an incredible team who generously donate their personal and professional time.
Working together towards a common goal and knowing that the end result will make a difference is a powerful and rewarding experience for each of us. As a result, Moman Architects proudly looks forward to strengthening our community giving each year.

Habitat for Humanity Unveils First Open Concept, Energy-Efficient Home in Round Rock
In January 2009, Moman Architects was selected to re-design five energy-efficient residential floor plans for the Habitat for Humanity Williamson County, which have now become the foundation for Round Rock’s first Habitat homes and others slated to be built throughout the county. On September 12th, officials held a dedication ceremony for the first newly designed home, which was built for a very deserving family.
The home is an open concept plan, meaning every inch of space is utilized, and the majority of the materials used are energy-efficient, resulting in lower utility bills for the homeowners.
All the labor for this Habitat home was a unique collaborative effort on behalf of numerous local faith-based organizations including the Round Rock Church of Christ and St. Philips Methodist Church, as well as hundreds of volunteers and supporters including the City of Round Rock, Hunter Douglas, Whirlpool, and Valspar.
Moman Continues Habitat for Humanity Partnership with Special Volunteer Opportunity
Moman Architects is now assembling a hard-working team of volunteers comprised of employees, consultants, clients and friends to help complete the Williamson County Habitat for Humanity Restore project. Located at 2108 N. Austin Ave. in Georgetown, the renovation includes optimizing the Restore’s current space, as well as reconfiguring a portion of the existing warehouse in order to create much needed office space. Once the project is complete, the staff will move into their new home adjacent to the Restore.
This non-profit venture would not be possible without the countless hours of work already donated by several members of the Moman team, as well as AYS Engineering and Boyer & Associates. Special thanks to Shawn Gillen, David Harris and James Zavodny for their incredible commitment and seeing the project successfully to the permitting phase.
